Serve a Meal

We serve FIVE meals a day EVERY DAY between two shelters. This feat is only accomplished because of our dedicated volunteers. Individual and group experiences are available to prepare and serve meals to our men experiencing homelessness.

  • Statesville Avenue | Breakfast & Dinner
  • Tryon Street | Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner

Consider sponsoring a meal for $500 to serve 300 men!

Sponsor an Ice Cream and Game-Day Social

Share the love with our men with some fun and relaxation. Typically held in the afternoon, our men always enjoy desserts, camaraderie, and games.

Coach in our Housing and Employment Resource Center (HERC)

Work one-on-one with men to help them gain meaningful employment, search for housing, and apply for benefits. This volunteer opportunity goes a long way to help our men move home!

Move a Man Home (Moving Brigade)

There’s no place like home, and certainly nothing like moving a man out of the shelter and into his own home. In partnership with our case managers, groups of 4-6 individuals spend a morning or afternoon helping a man move into his apartment by moving furniture and other household items. Times will vary and we seek to provide your “crew” with as much notice as possible for your planning. You might also consider helping a man with putting together a welcome home basket!

Thank you for considering to join us in one or more of these opportunities.
